Accessibility
What we have built in, what we have not, and how to tell us we got it wrong.
What we are aiming at
We build towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. That is the target rather than a certification — nobody has audited this site independently.
What is built in
- Keyboard — every control can be reached and operated without a mouse.
- Touch targets — controls are built to at least 44×44 px.
- Motion — if your device asks for reduced motion, the scroll effects stand down.
- Images — meaningful images carry alternative text; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Text — the page reflows without horizontal scrolling from 320 px upwards.
- Structure — one main heading per page, and form fields with real labels.
What we know is not done
- No independent audit, and no assistive-technology user has tested the site.
- Video content does not yet carry captions or audio description.
- Colour contrast has been designed carefully but not verified against every combination.
Tell us
If something here blocks you, we want to know. Email us with the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened — including the browser and any assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable saying. We reply within one business day.
